“As I had just completed the basic tracks, in 2018, for the first cover tune, “Incident at Neshabur/Senior Blue,” I said to the boys that there was one more cool cover tune that I had always wanted to do. They all said, “let’s do it.” So, we did!” – Ross
“After waiting several decades, I’m happy to be finally sharing my music with the world! ‘All of the Above’ is a reflection of so many musical influence in my life, and my hope is to reach a vast and varied audience, possibly beyond the popular music I am known for.” – Ross

“Windmill is another Latin inspired tune that takes us to Brazil. It was written on guitar and as a result this is the first time I’ve recorded guitar.” -Ross

“Wild Kingdom is definitely a good example of the variety of songs on ‘All of the Above’. It is certainly stylistically different than ‘Tomland’, as are the rest of the songs on this first album. I wrote the piece on a Calliope keyboard patch in the mid 80’s and had the privelage of developing the arrangement with Karl Perazzo, Master Percussionist with Santana, in 2012. Wild Kingdom became my first venture in recording with authentic Latin rhythms as well as the first project I worked on with keyboardist Eric Levy.” – Ross

“I dedicate this song to the memory of Tom Size, an accomplished and dedicated audio engineer here in the Bay Area. Tom provided me with a lot of encouragement and inspiration to pursue my own music and that’s why the song is dedicated to him…. moving on in his absence and continuing on in his spirit.” – Ross
